Art and Nature Workshop in Gerðarsafn
A simple workshop or guided tour for children on Wednesdays from 3-5pm in Gerðarsafn. The project is carried out in collaboration with Kópavogur’s Natural History Museum. The purpose is to create time and space for family time together after kindergarten or school.
Þorgerður, Hulda and Sævar manage the workshops. Families can come at any convenient time within this time frame, stay short or long. Nature will be viewed through the lens of art in different ways and the attention will be directed to something interesting in the environment. All materials will be on site. The events are suitable for children aged 3 to 8 years.
