Welcome to the workshop Forms Speak Together – We Build a World at Gerðarsafn on Saturday, March 28th from 1–3 PM.
In the workshop, participants will play freely with basic shapes. Each participant will create a three‑dimensional sculpture or structure using paper and tape.
The workshop instructor is visual artist Áslaug Íris Katrín Friðjónsdóttir.
The exhibition presents works by Hörður that reflect his approach to form and color theory from 1955–1978. Within his formal exploration one can sense the space where the architect and the poet intertwine, where the researcher and the creator meet in a holistic idea about the essence of all art.
