Join us for a series of performances at Gerðarsafn 28 August, 8PM. The official opening of the Festival is 6PM.
Hamraborg Festival takes over Gerðarsafn and the underground parking lot by Molinn for an evening of bodies, machines, noise, dreams, movement… and a little bit of glorious chaos.
Estonian dance duo Juliuus Vaiksoo & Helena Tõrva bring a beautiful chaos of bodies. Michael Richardt, in collaboration with Egill Ásdísarson, fills the exhibition rooms with a cyborg-infused sonic performance. Silfrún Una makes cars dance and talk in the underground parking lot by Molinn, while sewing machines and hair combs become part of Lindy Lin’s sound performance.
Dj set and party afterwards, and Krónikan open until late!
