A solo exhibition of work by Jeremy Deller opens in Gerðarsafn in May 2026.
Jeremy Deller is one of Britain’s most recognized artists and a recipient of The Turner Prize 2004. He has exhibited in multiple solo- and group exhibitions worldwide and was Britains representative at the Venice Biennale in 2013.
Deller’s work is often made in collaboration with individuals and social groups outside of the artworld, pulling the artwork outside of its traditional context.
The exhibition at Gerðarsafn will focus on works from the years 2021–2026. Both printworks created in collaboration with graphic designer Fraser Muggeridge as well as video works.
