Welcome to the opening of the exhibition opening at Gerðarsafn – Kópavogur Art Museum, Saturday January 12th at 4 p.m. Graham Paul, French Ambassador in Iceland will open the exhibition formally.

Various events will take place throughout the exhibition dates, starting with curator’s talk with Pascale Cassagnau, CNAP, Sunday January 13th at 3 p.m.

This collection of films emanating from the video collection of Centre national des arts plastiques (National Centre for Visual Arts) and including works by Charles de Meaux, Dominique Gonzalez Foerster, Pierre Huyghe, Ange Leccia and Romain Kronenbourg , bear witness to the rich diversity of film creation in France, which is presented alongside the rich singularity of Icelandic creation by Sigurður Guðjónson, Dodda Maggý, Steina.

Curated by Pascale Cassagnau, CNAP and Gústav Geir Bollason. First exhibited at Verksmiðjan, Hjalteyri (28.07. – 09.09.2018) in collaboration with CNAP and Berg Contemporary, Reykjavík.

Soyez les bienvenus au vernissage de l’exposition au Musée d’Art de Kópavogur – Gerðasafn, ce samedi 12 janvier à 16h00. Graham Paul, ambassadeur de France en Islande, ouvrira officiellement l’exposition.

De nombreux évènements auront lieu autour de cette exposition, le premier d’entre eux sera une rencontre avec la curatrice, Pascale Cassagnau, du Centre National des Arts Plastiques, le dimanche 13 janvier à 15h00 au musée.
