Join us for a multilingual workshop that brings cultures together through the art of weaving!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Facilitated by artists Ingunn Fj\u00f3la Ing\u00fe\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir and \u00cdris Hadda, this workshop offers a chance to learn the basics of card loom weaving. Participants will be provided with all materials needed to make their own card loom and create simple weavings inspired by South American textiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The goal of this workshop is to promote intercultural understanding and provide a space for people from different backgrounds to come together and create something beautiful. The workshop is held in collaboration with the aid organization Get Together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This workshop is open to individuals of all ages and skill levels, with no prior experience in weaving required. You can stop by at any time between 1-3pm and stay as long as suits you. Children are expected to be accompanied by an adult. The workshop is in Spanish, Icelandic and English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This workshop is part of an event series, organized by the organization Get Together and Ger\u00f0arsafn Art Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Admission is free and everybody is welcome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Facilitado por los artistas Ingunn Fj\u00f3la Ing\u00fe\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir y \u00cdris Hadda, este taller ofrece la oportunidad de aprender los conceptos b\u00e1sicos del tejido en telar en tarjetas. Los participantes recibir\u00e1n todos los materiales necesarios para hacer su propio telar en tarjetas y crear tejidos sencillos inspirados en los textiles sudamericanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El objetivo de este taller es promover el entendimiento intercultural y proporcionar un espacio para que personas de diferentes or\u00edgenes se re\u00fanan y creen algo hermoso. El taller se lleva a cabo en colaboraci\u00f3n con la organizaci\u00f3n de ayuda Get Together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Este taller est\u00e1 abierto a personas de todas las edades y niveles de habilidad, sin necesidad de experiencia previa en tejido.
