{"id":31943,"date":"2026-01-14T10:01:26","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T10:01:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/menning.kopavogur.is\/?post_type=event&#038;p=31943"},"modified":"2026-01-14T10:05:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T10:05:10","slug":"jeremy-deller","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/menning.kopavogur.is\/en\/event\/jeremy-deller\/","title":{"rendered":"Jeremy Deller"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A solo exhibition of work by Jeremy Deller opens in Ger\u00f0arsafn in May 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeremy Deller is one of Britain\u2019s most recognized artists and a recipient of The Turner Prize 2004.&nbsp; He has exhibited in multiple solo- and group exhibitions worldwide and was Britains representative at the Venice Biennale in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deller\u2019s work is often made in collaboration with individuals and social groups outside of the artworld, pulling the artwork outside of its traditional context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition at Ger\u00f0arsafn will focus on works from the years 2021\u20132026.
