The contract with the new operator was signed on May 11, the anniversary of the town of K\u00f3pavogur. Siblings, Sigr\u00fan Skafta and Bragi Skafta, take over the business, but they both have a lot of experience in the restaurant industry. Bragi as the owner and operator of 10 sopar, Br\u00fat og Kaffi \u00d3-le, but Sigr\u00fan worked as a restaurant manager at Bergsson math\u00fas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The siblings grew up in Vesturb\u00e6r K\u00f3pavogur, but Sigr\u00fan lived for a while in Denmark. Now she is back on her childhood paths. She is currently opening a restaurant in the heart of K\u00f3pavogur that offers Danish pastries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Ger\u00f0arsafn, a cafe has usually been run, but the focus at Kr\u00f3nikan will be on danish sm\u00f6rre br\u00f6d, small dishes and light wine. The sibling says that the coffee machine will of course be in its place. Magn\u00fas Anton, who previously worked as a chef at the restaurant Kastrup, will be in the kitchen.
