Back for a third show at Salurinn, six foreign-born stand-up comedians living in Iceland ask if they can ever really belong on this island. Hosted by RVK Fringe Award winning comedian, Dan Roh, join this dynamic group of award-winning comedians as they let you into what life is really like as an immigrant in one of the world’s most popular destinations. Hlökkum til að sjá þig!
Dan Zerin
Blending comedy, photography, and music into an explosively entertaining package. He is a multi-award winning comedian with shows like “My Voices Have Tourettes” and “Squeak!”, and “Bucket Of Crazy.” Dan’s globe-trotting adventures have seen him cracking jokes and snapping pics across continents, at numerous festivals, and delivering a Talk at TEDx Reykjavik in 2023 about using comedy as a form of self-empowerment. Dan’s blend of humor comes with a side of Tourette Syndrome and a mixtape of other diagnoses, giving his comedy that extra zest—as if puberty decided to extend its lease into his 30s.
Dan also had the honor of being the first (or, at least, the squeakiest) comedian with Tourette Syndrome to perform for the President of Iceland, giving him a front-row seat to Dan’s one-of-a-kind comedic symphony.
When he’s not busy making people laugh or breaking new ground, Dan teams up with his wife in their venture “Omen’s Eye Photography.” Together, they’re on a mission to capture passion, one snapshot at a time.

Cedrick Bowen
One of the most exciting up and coming comedians in Iceland. He’s a regular at the open mics at the Dubliner, using his high energy and big personality on stage. When he’s not on stage, he’s making people laugh on TikTok, talking about how it is living in Iceland as an American. Though he is new to the comedy game, Cedrick also known as Ceddie B is making a big impact early in his career.
David Valley
Often called “the wandering comedian.” After selling out multiple solo shows at the 2025 Reykjavík Fringe Festival, he’s coming to Salurinn to deliver his signature blend of deadpan absurdity, quick wit, and fearless crowd work. This autumn, he’s set for a run of solo shows at Tjarnabíó and gigs across Europe – but first, he’s coming to Salurinn.
Mauricio Rodriguez
A Dominican comedian and winner of the Reykjavik Fringe “Rising Star” and “Breakout Performer,” awards. Mauricio is a three time performer at the Belonging? shows, his honest and insightful storytelling style breaks barriers and elicits uproars of laughter.
Mette Kousholt
An experienced Edinburgh Fringe Festival performer who has premiered several individual shows, Mette is originally from Denmark. Mette explores themes of gender and culture in an original, sometimes absurdist style that incorporates exciting and inventive mediums. Mette will be returning for her third Belonging? show!
Dan Roh
Host and creator of Belonging? Dan is a Korean-American comedian & writer and winner of the Reykjavík Fringe 2021 “Rising Star” award for his debut show. He has performed at Þjóðleikhus Kjallarinn and was part of a 2024 Gríman nominated show.
