Gerður’s Studio is now open again! The blue blocks are here and hanging on the walls are chosen pieces from the collection by Gerður Helgadóttir, Valgerður Briem and Valtýr Pétursson.
Gerður’s studio is an open learning space where everyone is welcome to explore and create art. School groups, families and other guests have opportunity to sit back, relax and create art. Family workshops are frequently held at Gerður’s studio, in connection with current exhibitions at the museum.
Access to the Creative Space is included in the entry to the museum. Entry is free of charge for children under 18 years of age.
