Viðburðurinn fer fram í Tilraunastofunni, innst í Náttúrusafni Kópavogs, hefst kl. 16:30 á skemmtilegri og lifandi fræðslu um fiðrildi á Íslandi. Vísindaskólinn hentar best börnum á aldrinum 8–10 ára, en öll forvitin eru velkomin!
Í Vísindaskóla Náttúrusafni Kópavogs þarf ekki að sækja um inngöngu, bara að mæta! Fræðslan fer fram í opnum viðburðum þar sem við lærum um náttúruna með lifandi kennslu. Þar fá allir að fræðast, gera tilraunir og draga ályktanir.

Would you like to learn more about the butterflies in your garden?
On this occasion, Sebastían Oddný Arnarson will talk about the butterflies found in gardens—what you need to observe them, where they can be found, and how you can encourage greater biodiversity in your own garden.
The event will take place in the Experimental Lab, at the far end of the Nature Museum of Kópavogur. It begins at 4:30 PM with an engaging and lively educational session about butterflies in the urban environment in Iceland. The Science School is especially suitable for children aged 8–10, but all curious minds are welcome!
There is no need to register for the Science School at the Natural History Museum of Kópavogur—just show up! The educational activities take place in open sessions where we learn about nature through hands-on, interactive teaching. Everyone gets the chance to learn, experiment, and draw conclusions.
